Thoughtfully crafted, this equipment places users' hands in a neutral grip position, effectively minimizing the risk of shoulder impingements. Setting it apart, the RS-1501 begins with exercise handles located in front of the user. As the exercise progresses, a unique rocking mechanism shifts the handles overhead, seamlessly imitating the natural arc observed in dumbbell shoulder presses.
More than just mimicking movements, this rocking design aligns the arm with the user’s torso's midline. This alignment results in a decreased external rotation of the arm and shoulder, significantly mitigating the risk of lower back arching. With the addition of a ratcheting seat adjustment feature, users can find their most comfortable positioning, ensuring optimal posture and form throughout the exercise.
Integral to the RS-1501's design is the patented ROX™ technology, from HOIST®'s ROC-IT line. This dynamic adjustment feature makes users an active participant, constantly modifying their position in tandem with the exercise arm's movement.
